A compassionate facility for men with alcohol and drug problems. this is a transitional program, not a long term refuge.
A 10 bed facility serving men with alcohol or drug problems. Four month sobriety required - straight and sober. The program emphasis is one-on-one counseling, reinforced by residents' meetings and group sessions. There are experienced counselors as well as 24 hour supervision.
Program aim is to develop lifeskills and foster responsibility. Residents are typically employed or seeking employment, or undertaking training or academic upgrading.

Program Objectives

To provide transitional support towards independent living. To promote and encourage an alcohol and drug free way of life; teach by example, reinforce sober lifeskills, involve appropriate support groups; induce positive attitude changes; career counseling, referrals to appropriate agencies for training, education, employment; reintroduction to workforce and independent living; promote work ethics and responsibilities.
